Trout farm RTW Degassing
On this outdoor trout facility in Denmark we installed 4 units with 3 single wheels each.
The volume on the 2 deeded raceway tanks is 2.200 m3 for 3 kg+ trouts, a stocking density of 80 kg+/m3 and the consumption of freshwater is limited to 60l/s (216 m3/h
We installed 4 units in each tank, 4×250 l/s (4×900 m3/h) modules, 2 in each end. To achieve bether energy consumption, 2 of the units lift, degas and move the water into the raceway in one process.
The 2 units in the oopposite end is installed directly in the tank as a simple side degasser and due to the RTW high selfcleaning effect it performs with out any filtration.
The solution has a total lift/head at only 800 mm (32”) including pump/pipe pressure loss, and an 80mm (3”) drop under the units.
To reduce noise we installed 4 pcs. Submerged pumps with an energy consumption on 4,4kw each.
